Day 2: where I’d like to be in 10 years
Let’s just say I hate these types of questions. The 5, 10, and 20 year questions are the only ones not answered in my high school memory book. I figured I would be married at some point, have a kid or two, and that was all I knew.
Same today. I have no idea. I will be married to that amazing man, be the mother of five children, and that’s all I know.
The great part about this “uncertainty” is that it is okay with me. I really don’t need to see that far down the road, as my entire life has taught me. In fact, if I could have seen 10 years ago where I would be today, it would have freaked me out and I would have tried to change the course of events.
“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
